Haven't posted in a while, but there's been a surge of activity and I think it's time for me to stir the pot a little. Wow, we're off topic... I kind of want to ask if big-o can sell/offer the info to MAKE the programme to another programmer & then let that company tweak and whatnot to make it their own. Of course, this would have to be done with no records...but since it's free, it shouldn't be an ownership iss...

Big-O is NOT releasing aim+ 3.0, open source or otherwise.

They've said they don't want to do this SEVERAL times. So there is word, just not the word you want to hear.

Have you tried Trillian ? It's really not that bad. GAIM is basically still beta, so it's not surprising that it'd crash a bit. My problem with GAIM is that it's corrupting files (so windows says)... Beh. AOL just needs a chunk cut out of them. They're HORRIBLE programmers and write a terrible programme...

Alright, GAIM is pissing me off.

It won't load fonts, which makes it crash (a dos window pops up & says a bunch of crap and then when I close the dos window, BAM, Gaim is gone)

It crashes randomly on it's own....

I really like the programme, but...It's crashing a lot kids.

It's a sweet programme with excellent features, but I don't know how to make it less...crashy.
