jon8rfc is right. reshacking the aimres file works very well. go download reshack. (you can download it here .) then open the aimres.dll file. search under 'strings' and folder 57. scroll though it and you'll see the playing game away message. there you go....you can change it to whatever you want o...

there is a new aim beta out. it adds video iming and screenname linking. download here only i've noticed...you can't disable the "aim today" window anymore. and it lets you remove all the default away message but after you remove them and close the preferences window, they just come back. ...

As far as I can tell, the only differences with AIM 5.0 and AIM 5.1 is that you can integrate it with Outlook Express. You can also make AIM your default IMing program, and turn on/off the typing indicator. If anyone else knows anything else about what's new with AIM 5.1, please let me know.
