Not sure if this is an aim+ or aim bug, but
i upgraded to aim 4.8 and now several minutes after i sign on i get a message that im not connected to the alerts server.

aim+ 2.2.1 build 65, win2000

i figured the same. however, i only cloned aim once or twice, and then closed the clones. im not even sure if this is the cause. i thought maybe it was because aim stopped responding to tcp connections from ads.web.aol.com, since the client wasnt showing the ads. but... that's a lot of connections f...
