how do u kno if it runs apache?

Hey how do you make a log in page, such as when you click on a link you have to type in a User Name and a password? I would like to add one to my web site, if you could help me out that would be sweet, thanks!

Where do you get this extended profile? Its also hard to edit the profile using notepad if you don't know HTML and what numbers = what colors. But I just put numbers in...hehehehe
