i find sometimes after doing a direct connect and showing pictures to a buddy that sometimes emoticons will be replaced with usually 2 copies of a image i had show previously. sometimes also a horizontal line will be shown in place of emoticons as well.

i get this history gap waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much. i think it has something to do with the window clearing stuff, cause thats when it usually seems lost. most of the time it happens with a certain buddy that i chat with for hours on end, and i keep their window open all the time i am on we talk that o...

i recently got a router and ran into this problem as well. i thought the DMZ thing would fix it, but it didnt. my friends who are much smarter than me with this kinda stuff explained to me that the problem is most likely a bug with AOL and nothing to do with the router.
