However on the Macintosh and OSx versions of AIM, the away msg floats above all IM's and you can msg ppl while away and it'll autoreply to whoever msges you once, ...

Last I checked MAC is not open source. I looked on http://www.sourceforge.net and it is not there. I looked on the http://www.apple.com/macosx/ and its not there either. I dont know where you get the idea that MAC OS X is an open ...

I would never choose a mac over a PC for the simple reason that I need my PC for many tasks that a mac would not suffice for. I would definately use in in addition to a PC if I had the money. They are powerful within their own spectrum ...
