... by the power corrupt admin..... yeah, well anyways.... i really want that SN (for obvious reasons), so i finally figured out how to get the @mac.com account to work..... so i end up with gautbrian@mac.com as a SN. and i can log on and everything fine...... but the thing is, it looks bad. ...

... your sleeping message or whatever when your buddy gets pounced. That last feature just makes me all warm inside. :D haha. Back to the topic. The Mac version of AIM also has this "pounce" feature. L8r all. Happy AIMing!

... be a quick flicker. It's definitely not as good as just having the away message stay up 100%, but it's worth considering, I think. However on the Macintosh and OSx versions of AIM, the away msg floats above all IM's and you can msg ppl while away and it'll autoreply to whoever msges you once, ...

iChat for the mac has this renaming capability as my friend likes to brag to me...

Last I checked MAC is not open source. I looked on http://www.sourceforge.net and it is not there. I looked on the http://www.apple.com/macosx/ and its not there either. I dont know where you get the idea that MAC OS X is an open ...

And the ONE major thing that would absolutely make me switch, is if MAC became an open standard. By that meaning a non-proprietary system. I like to play with the hardware, upgrade as I see fit, I dont want to be limited to only MAC standards. But yep..thats ...

I would never choose a mac over a PC for the simple reason that I need my PC for many tasks that a mac would not suffice for. I would definately use in in addition to a PC if I had the money. They are powerful within their own spectrum ...

the main reason that i am not a mac user is that it costs a lot to get one. if they were cheap (or if i were rich), then i would switch in a heartbeat...as would anyone that i know... They are expensive, that is the main problem. I guess ...
