as far as I know, AIM uploads the info.htm file to their server when you start AIM. If you update your profile, it updates both your local version and the server version. A simple test is to modify your info.htm while AIM is running and see if your profile changes. It does not.

nice idea, plus, I have a work and personal machine, would be nice to have a way to import and export other then using regedit export and import capabilities

My Aim->Edit Options->Edit preferences->Idle Message

Type in whatever you please. No idea how you got the autoresponse to start with if you do not know how to. Since AIM defaults to none at all.

I beleive the version nubmer your using helps, since may people still think the "current version" is 4.7 and not aware of the many (5 or so) that have been released since.
