hmmm... Well I'm ambidextrous so either works for me. I'm used to Ctl + V though so that's what I press most often.

It has nothing to do with your client version. Your buddy list must be synchronized with the server, so when you edit it -- if the server has conection problems it will not synch right and thus will change it back.

If you are indeed getting charged... (and yes it is illegal to solicit to cell phones) then I'd first contact your phone company to make sure they know. Then I would ask them who to contact. The FCC is my best guess though. Scare the pants off of them
