There is a way around that Timeless, I have been a supporter of you in the past, but it seems everytime someone brings up DeadAIM, more specifically that it costs, you have to point out that it's security measures can be bypassed (aka keygens, whatever), but you won't disclose how you did it or whe...

I don't invision car bombs, plane bombs being used to kill people that way. I do invision such tactics as being utilized in Israel where people are strapping on vests of explosives and killing people as the mill about town.

They are right. Last night the news stated that there was almost an instantaneous drop in McDonalds stock and Japan and other countries have placed an embargo on American Beef. Granted, it is temporary, but still not good for our already sagging economy.

Please, these people aren't stupid, but the American populous is. The terrorist cells got a good laugh in the display of terror that was all over the media after the 9/11 attacks. These people are not dumb enough to pull the same stunt twice, but for the most part all our security efforts are lookin...

Harry,

At this time I'm between offices and my new office has banned all IM programs. So I probably won't be facing this problem again anytime soon. I don't really IM much from home, but if the practice starts up, I'll load m_m and give it a go :)

The gov't has enough of a chance of stopping the spread of SPAM as they do in stopping the influx of drugs into this country. Like water, SPAM will always find a way into our Inboxes

In the Add-in game, word-of-mouth is everything. If you have the best add-in on the market, yet nobody knows about you, you aren't going to provide much competition to the current market leader. Plus, consumers are hard to sway. You can throw a lot of good features into a sound product and you will ...

If the developers can find a way around corporate firewalls, then I'll be happy to give it a go. I tried it a month ago and it just wouldn't work

Being that I'm in the software business and my company has many partnerships with software vendors that we do custom work with (some are heavy modifications and add-ins) I can tell you that unless Jim has been picked up on AOL's payroll, he is most likely paying a fee of some sort for the ability to...

If there ever is a new AIM+, would you choose it over m_m, even if it does less, simply because 'it does what you need it to do' ?? I would have to say yes. I have tried m_m and it won't work behind my corporate firewall. So even if I liked the features of m_m (which I can't answer in the affirmati...

I can relate. THe project I am working on for my paycheck is like that. We have highly customized certain Java Classes and whenever an update is released we have to archive those changed class files and then install the update. Once we determine the update didn't break anything, then I have to compa...

I read an article on news.com where they interviewed the guy who came up with the cell technology our cell phones use. He stated that the biggest problem with the technology is that it can't seemlessly handle the unhindered transfer of calls from one cell to another. When you are driving down the ro...
