Have you tried Trillian? It's really not that bad. GAIM is basically still beta, so it's not surprising that it'd crash a bit.

I've formatted the chat to the most pertinent answers, and removed extraneous questions.

If Ryan does a chat, I'll format that one as well (if someone will log it).

Hey Ryan, I'm trying to compile a Q&A of Mark in an AIM chat room and stuff right now, hopefully in replacement of the others. I've done a summary (basically) in my sig. Good to see you here, man. :) If anyone wants to log the chat and email it to me, I'll format it and post it. I'm doing the on...

(I hope this isn't annoying posting every few, but I think people should read my summary first, before posting.)

I'm not sure...I haven't tried it. I'm just gonna use Trillian for the meantime, because I use MSN as well. It has logging, so that's at least a bit cool. Hmm...I should add Trillian to that list, too.

The post I made included a list of options, in addition to the reasons and summaries of what happened. Save your typing and read the post in my sig before commencing. ;)

Sunday's Chat Summary and Opinions

I hope people can read what I typed up before posting anything more on AIM+. I tried to summarize everything, to help out in keeping posts to only those who have something new to add. http://www.btvillarin.com/aimplus/ Maybe this can get stickified or something, I dunno. I'm just trying to help, for...

I felt compelled to type this up. It took about 20 minutes, so I hope you all can refer to it before posting anything else.

All about the AIM+ happenings

I'll put this in my sig as well. ;) I hope it helps!

asmily1, I can see why you and everyone wants AIM+ 3.0 to be released. It's truly great software. I think Mark and Ryan can understand why we all have these reactions too, so I think at least plain support will help them in their difficulties. :)

If you look closely on the AIM download page , at the second to last line: Windows 95 users please click here to download AIM 4.8. If you're hosting this somewhere, you don't have to waste your bandwidth...just link to this. I just tried the link, and it works. (Just FYI) :) Again, it's not our conc...

I guess I post with good logic Mark? ;) I don't understand what "attacks" can disrupt their lives. If it is DOS attacks, let the web host deal with that. Hell, even pull down the website or direct people to download the software from download.com. If it's some type of threat, there are way...

Repost: AIM+ Chat Questions

Read through that first before asking more questions. In addition, these two aren't a software company...just two people who love making software that helps everybody. They don't owe us anything, IMHO.
