yeah, but when you have 180 something buddies and a bunch* of them have multiple screen names, the folders take up half of the visible buddy list!

i think there should be something similiar to this, 1 name in the buddy list will come on line for say 4 different screenames

it does work with icq, just put a number in your buddy list, and it says icq next to it

the only real good thing about the new aim 5 is the typing indicator

i think the custom smilies will be cool when they finaly come out

i think there should be an options to not accept other ppls expressions

i like the new typing indicator, there will be more expressions, including new smilies, which i think will be cool, i think the skins that they have so far are ugly, but there should be more plus i think ppl can make their own, i hate how long it takes for the buddy list and IM window skins to load,...

they fixed the buddy list from being so damn wide,

direct connect images arent tiny anymore,

they re-arranged the settings panel a little, and there is a new "Nascar" skin

i noticed something i really dont like in aim 5 beta

when you direct connect to send pics, it makes all the pics icon-sized, its annoying as hell

you can get rid of the ticker in the options..
