I've actually never had that happen to me. I guess because I dont have search for me enabled as Mark said and I never go in AIM chatrooms except maybe once in a blue moon.

I think it's a great service :) only problem is it's been warned up to 100% lately (wasn't me). Probably need to work on making it unwarnable. I say keep working on v4 for the time being. v5 is still just a beta and many things can and probably will change with it in the upcoming versions. To the best of my knowledge it is not possible to remove the empty space without a front end program such as AIM+. You would have to actually resize or change the visual properties of a form item, which isn't easy without the source code.

Transparency only works in win2K/XP.

This must just be in XP because I have had 0 memory problems with Win2k on several different machines.

For some reason I doubt you'll have much luck searching for 1 of millions of AIM users here on this forum. Perhaps you could IM them...
