How much does a gallon of gas cost where you live?

Post by Michael »

Just out of curiosity...how much does a gallon of gas cost where you guys live? (I think it's always interesting to compare different parts of the country.) I think mine is right around $1.50, but I'm going out to get gas this morning so I will check and post a specific amount later.

It's about $1.48 on average. My city is right off the interstate (I-75) so we have like 30 gas stations. Of course the ones right next to the offramp are a good 10-15 ¢ more...

Depends on what gas station I go to.
Earlier this month, and last month.. gas was as high as $1.65.
Now it's going down a bit to about $1.62

I paid $1.56 at the BP gas station down the road last week.
Mobil, Exxon, Amoco and the higher branded companies are still around $1.60 still.
The cheaper gas stations (Rally, Sunoco, and Sams Club) are about $1.52 or $1.53.

Note: Gas prices reflect only "Regular" Octane prices. Not Premium, Plus, or Deisel.

Gas prices where I live range from 1.46-1.55. I normal get gas from where I work because it is 9 time out of 10 the cheapest place in town (well some time HEB is cheaper) secoundly I upthere any how for one reason or another so it pretty easy for me to just drive over there. There one more reason but I would get in trouble for that one.........

Guess I'm lucky. When I left Wed. for the concert, it was 1.39 here (BG is off of I-75 too) and 1.38 in Columbus. Doesn't look like its changed yet, although its probably gone up since all the kids are out for the weekend...

It's about $1.79 here. The prices always fluctuate. Sometimes it gets as low as $1.50, but right now it's not so low.

That is so weird... Here by the freeways the gas is cheaper... It's something that State does to try and get you to buy gas on the freeway (and pay them).

You do not pay $5.75 a liter. Not even in canadian dollars. That works out to about $20 US per gallon.

Yeah, one liter is 0.264172 US gallons, or basically, 4 liters is 1 US gallon, so you couldn't possibly pay that much for a liter.
