Serif or sans serif?

Post by Anonymity »

in your opinion what looks better for headings on a newspaper? a heading using a serif font or a sans serif font?

(for those who dont know a serif font is one that has the little ends... ie times new roman. a sans serif font is one without them... ie arial.)

Headings should look a little bit more... Intresting then the rest of the text.

in general, sans serif fonts are used to ease reading. titles/headings are usually better in serif or stylized fonts though.

I like Serif ones .. without those little 'ends'.
But if I got to pick a different one, I'd say 'Trebuchet MS'. (Yes.. I know it's an M$ Windoze font)
