Christmas Lights - Who is breaking the law?

Post by Anthony »

I heard on the radio today that after a certain date it will be against the law to have Christmas lights (on).

Do people really think they make the area ugly? What 1 month ago people would go googly eyed about, they now can't stop making complaints? What's up with that?

Well of course they won't come out and say the above, so they blame it on saving money at the power plants... Okay first of all they don't take that much... And more importent THE CUSTOMER IS PAYING FOR IT, AND CAN USE IT AS THEY SEE FIT.

These people that made it illegal in WNY should be shot not for making the law, but for being stupid, and unhonest.

maybe the law over there wanted to make the news. what they do? make you take them down, or just hang you?

It was not on the news.... It was more like a public announcement.

I don't know the date that this goes into effect, but it wasn't the day I posted it....

Also you can have them up... You just can't have them on.

People in my neighborhood still have their entire lawn displays up, and turn them on every night.

Stupid ass people are just lazy..

Or perhaps they simply want to keep them up for a little bit longer because they spent all the time setting it up?
