So if I cancel my subscription to ancestry.com today, it won't revoke your credit will it? I hope not...I plan on having each of my sisters, both my parents and maybe a brother-in-law sign up to ancestry so I can get my 15 gig ipod. I can't decide if I should keep it or sell it...I can get at least $150 off ebay for it right?

I canceled it 20 minutes after i signed up. I ust glances around the site to see if it was even remotely interesting, which it wasnt



oh, and if you plan on having ur family sign up, each person has to have a card with a seperate address on it. If you sign up any 2 people with the same address, then your account will get suspended, so be carefull

Ah, thanks for the tip, I just was gonna have them each use a different number, didn't even think about the billing address.

I just cancelled my membership at ancestry.com and I felt bad because I gave the girl (who sounded in her early 20s) my email of nojjypoo-freeipods@yahoo.com and she asked why I wanted to cancel and how I found out about ancestry.com ...I flat out lied and said "a friend referred me to it, but it wasn't as user-friendly as I was expecting", while she's over there thinking "he just lied to me, he's trying to get a free ipod".

heh, when i canceled mine, i just told them i didnt want it cause it wasnt good enough he kept trying to tell me that there were things about it that would do better things.... he got so persistant that i just finmally flat out told him the service sucked. lol

btw, i only need ONE more person to sign up! $5 to anybody who does!
