how the heck to you change the color of your start bar, when it is in XP to another color other than silver, green, blue. as for say black, or another color of your choice.

That they will pretend does not exist in 15 years...

Even though I no longer use Windows 98 I'm still upset about that... Windows 95 lossing support was one thing, but Windows 98 and XP are far to diffrent.

longhorn does have extra useless bs. like that WinFS crap, all it does so far is eat up cpu resources. and that damned slsvc.exe is a cpu hog as well. i think it has something to do w/ tcpa. i cant find anything that i find useful that xp doesnt have, except for the theme, but i already got it.

well first off remeber that Longhorn is still in alpha, pre-alpha phase. It has not even hit beta yet. Also from what I have heard long horn will have some stuff that is more usesful like it will be a 64 bit OS. Also from what I read and been told the new filemanging system has a lot of promise right now to be much better than the current one. I willing to bet it will still be very skinable and they may just implement that entirer thing into there OS who knows. There a clock on the log on screen. Also there some new tabs for the of the screen. It could be useful but I my self prouble will never use them and I dont really care for them (maybe if you had a larg moninitor or something it would be more useful).

Also I believe it will have some stuff dealing with networking and processor sharing over a network.
