Web Browser?

Post by sweeney »

I was just curious as to what web browser everyone uses?

I use Opera and IE

P.S.: I didn't make this a poll because I knew I would forget a browser.

Opera has a bar at the top of the window only with phpbb boards. Look at picture.

I use IE 6 here. but when I'm on my Linux box.. I use Galeon. It's great! :D

Hell of alot faster than IE.. based on Gecko (i think).

Whatever you do.. don't use Mozilla !
I tried using it on my Linux box..and the damn thing freezes up worse than IE here.....
figures though considering IE is based on Mozilla.

I use Opera 7.1 and IE 6. Opera is my primary browser, IE for web development and a few other things.

Opera seems to have a problem when I try to post in IPB forms. My post is saved to the boards but the page does not take me to the redirect page.

I also have Opera on my Windows box here... mainly for Website development...
I don't like it too much. It's big and bulky, and its just weird. Plus their's things it just can't do ... that IE can, and I don't like it.

The bulkiness is easily taken care of. I personally hate bulky interfaces (*cough XP) but you can configure things in Opera any which way you want. I think most people just don't have the patience.

Out of curiousity... what specifically can IE do that Opera can't that you were thinking of?

Not really sure.. but I know if I took the time, I could find Something.
I was just on a rant/rave... and said it without really thinking about it.. :)
