OK,
Lately, I've been getting entire directory structures from our vendor whenever they are releasing a simple "fix" to the application we support. The problem is, we don't know what files they have changed and this requires us to do a thorough testing of the entire application because we don't know where they have been in the code. This is very time consuming.
I would like to find a good, prefereable free-ware utility that would allow me to compare the existing directory tree to the one I have been given to replace it that will tell me which files are different. I don't want a simple date/time comparison to determine a difference.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Brian,
Mainly .HTML, .XML, and Java .CLASS files. I just want to find a program that will allow me to provide a starting directory and it will crawl through the directories reporting the files/directories that are new and/or different.
