My New Laptop

Since someone asked...here are the specs on my new laptop. I only got 256 MB of RAM because I can get it cheaper than ordering it with the assembly. I stepped down on the hard disk, cuz face it--no one needs a 40 gigs of HD space on their laptop when they have 100 gigs or so in their desktop. Went from DVD/CD-RW combo to the 8X DVD...I'm thinking about buying an external DVD burner I can use with both the laptop and my desktop. 14.1" screen cuz it's a half-pound lighter than the 15" ones and I'll be carrying the thing a lot to and from school.

I was looking at various other things. Tablets are cool, but a little on the expensive side. As laptops get smaller, the keyboard quality starts to suck too. (Hard to fit all those keys in such little space) I saw a really nice laptop with a wide screen in circuit city. IT HAD A NUMBER PAD (a rarity in laptops...i was hoping to find a cheap laptop with a numpad)

not bad of a laptop. It is at least as good as mine. I will warn you that you will learn to hate only have 20gigs to work with. if feels up really fast. But nice nice laptop

Damn. I been unistalling software and delteing files left and right to keep at least 1.5 gigs free. It was not really a problem until this year when I had to install a lot of stuff for school that just ate up hard drive space so some games had to go. Cds had to be burned. I deleted and uninstall over 8 gigs worth of stuff so far. so curretnly I have 5 gigs free but I am not sure how much longer that will last
