School Computers

yeah my high school may offer some alright classes but the computers suck ASS. Tho they all have windows 2000 professional but they all have pentium 1 maybe 2 processors except for one lab which has pentium 4. The computer lab i take my class in we dont even have access to the HD we only save our work on our server HD. They block every site on the internet even if they don't know what it is. But we have novell or some shit like that. I can bypass a little by creating an account on the computer itself so i can have more freedom on the computer and a lil more on the internet... but then i dont have access to the server and HD's they have on them.


ps if anyone knows how to do anything on novell help me out...like creating my own user account and stuff...



EDIT: Yeah my school spends so much on our football team too haha and we won one game this year and it was against a team that hasnt won a game in 3 years.. We even lost our homecoming game against the other high school in our town. lol how sad is that.

I don't have any experience with Novell, but it seems like many schools are using that as their system. I think the school I did my methods at and will student teach at has that on their computers. The local high school here where I go to college also has Novell on their systems. So, if anyone does know something about them, I'm definately going to keep an eye on this thread for that also.


And about football... try going to a school where the entire four years they won only 2 games, one your second year and one your senior. Its kinda funny... we laughed at how close my HS was to the one in Funky Winkerbean (we were the Rams though). Now, the last two years my high school has made state playoffs only to loose in the first round both times... I'm still in shock that they made it that far!

yeah for novell im looking maybe to bypass them or even create an account for myself thru a loop hole kind of thing haha


and yeah my high school split into 2 high schools 4 years ago or so... so the sports that won state championships thru the 90's are now not making it to state as much anymore but we still have managed to bring home a state title every now and then haha.

haha... A local team has not lost a single game in over two years... Stupid team beat my HS (Undefeated) in the local championship... It's like trying to beat the Yankees x2... State wide anyways.
