Dude, you're an idiot. DOOM 3 isn't even out yet. It won't be until April. It'll make a mighty fine birthday present from me to me.

No, and i have not seen it either, something tells me any footage would not be from the game, but rather like Nintendo did with Zelda, Metroid and their 100 Mario thing...

It would be nice to be proven wrong, and based on the fact a lot of good 1st person shooters for the PC are based on the DOOM engine I could be proved wrong... I even hope I am... But too much hype can cause a lot of problems, even for a game that deserves a lot of hype (but not as much as it gets).

No, it IS the actual gameplay footage, released by id Software themselves.

Well, GuitarBum could be playing the old leaked version...the zombies in there did look pretty nasty.

It hink Doom3 will be awesome. I played the multiplayer version at Quakecon this past August and it was pretty cool. Wow, the visuals were awesome!

It will be awesome. I already reserved a copy of it. One slight problem though: Half-Life 2 is slated for a late-March release. So in essence, HL2 will have the upper hand on DOOM 3. They're both gonna be awesome games nonetheless. I'm just curious to see how much damage HL2 will cause considering its earlier release.

I didn't find it all that impressive...but that's just me. I'm not a big gamer.

I saw the leaked version. My ex had it and was playing it when I stopped by his room last spring I believe. Didn't look too bad... but then again FPS aren't really my taste. I could get into it if I gave myself enough patience.

No. It's not out. I work in a video game store. I know what's coming out when.

DOOM 3 doesn't even have a street date yet. All I know is that it's gonna be out in April '04. I would've known by now. Don't pull even try to pull something like that on me.
