AIM+ logging is NON-FUNCTIONAL with this version of AIM, yet again. Current best version is still 5.2.3139. I have experienced the C++ runtime error crash again with this version. I ran it again without AIM+ running and it didn't crash for the 10 minutes I was on. It could conflict with AIM then maybe? The crashes are also completely random it seems like though, so I might not have given it enough time to crash.

I'm sticking with 5.2.3139 yet again.

Well, if you're ever interested in a 5.2 update, 5.2.3139 is the way to go.

does 5.2.3139 work with AIM+ then?

Post by weezer006 »

I was curious, I've been out of the loop for awhile. I wanted to use the features that 5.2.3139 provides, does the current version of AIM+ work correctly with that? I'm assuming not but does it mostly work, at least the history? If it doesn't work, does that mean it just crashes a lot or what?

Thanks in advance for updating me, sorry for being a little uninformed.

5.2.3139 is great! The logging logs correctly, but it doesn't log seperately between screen names that are usign AIM+. For example if you use 2 screen names on your comptuer and talk to me, jon8rfc, your logs from both screen names you used will be in the same folder and could possible be in the same file if you talked to me on the same day. But logging does work :)

check this thread to read up on it...the logging does log, but not seperated into screen name folders for who signed on, but folders for each person you talk to :)
