AOL IS SATAN!

so my disk drive crashed the other day, no biggie. i fix it and everythings up and running smoothly. so i go to download my favorite messenger program, aim. i dl it and it installs perfectly. however i cant sign on, i continously get that unable to connect to aol box. and it is extremely annoying. any suggestions? anyone? please?
