History problem with AIM+ and 5.5 (yes i read the faq)

I just upgraded to 5.5 and yes I know that it's not fully compatable with AIM+

However the faq said that history logging still worked.

It doesn't. My history is there, but blank. And masterjedi's history view isn't working either. I replaced the files in my windows/system32 directory.

When I double click, i get a beep and no error. Just nothing.

Can anyone be of any assistance?

Sorry, the FAQ is a little out of date. Logging is only compatible up to 5.2.3139, 5.2.3255+ is not supported because AIM changed how things are done (on purpose). You should check out Middle_Man, it is in it's early stages but is very stable like AIM+ but will have tons more features than deadaim as the program grows in the coming months.

Middle_Man never worked for me. If my viewer isn't working for you, go to your AIM+ install directory and delete the file with the extension ".manifest".

ummm the logging for AIM+ has never work with 5.x. I am going to guess you are trying to use the the history viewer to see you logs. Personly I could never get my logs to work so I did not bother. Or you can go back to 4.8
