ok whenever i try and get aim+ started for the first time it says enter the path to your AIM executable or sumtin like that and i dont understand what i have to do HLP ME PLEASE

In most cases it is either:

c:\program files\aim95

or

c:\program files\aim

In other words it is the location of the folder where AIM is installed.

It's really not difficult. All you need to do is type in the path that AIM is installed in. Most of the time it's C:\Program Files/AIM95/aim.exe. Unless you installed AIM into a different location, that's where it'll be.

Okay...

Lets figure out exactly where you installed it to (And it could easily not be where the default location is).

1) Click start

2) Click search

3) Click for files or folders (I don't know... This may be diffrent on non XP)

4) type aim.exe

5) Click search

6) Note the folder it is in...

7) Put this as the location

If you have any more problems I'm online almost all the time between 5-11 (7-11 is "off peak internet times though ))

Are you sure you have AIM installed ?

Last try....

Do you have more then one HD (or partition)?

If you do then you should make sure that you searched all the drives and not just the primary.
