AIM+ Good Or Bad?

There is no question about it. AIM+ was the king when it was being developed. All other AIM add-ons aspired to be it (If people are willing to admit it that's their own deal). On the same basic note, people want to be like AIM+ even after it was put down for the count (Actually after some people *wish* it would go down for the count already). The creator of the next "king" (IMO) has came right out (several times) to say that he wanted to follow in the footsteps of Ryan/Mark with his program.

AIM+ actually continues to be king. Nothing does what it does as well as it does it. Okay... So the history viwer sucked big time... But Jedi fixed that problem... And people aspired to be like him as far as the history viwer just as they aspired to be like AIM+.

So... If you use AIM+ the way it was meant to be used then yes... No question about it.

aspired...programs think for themselves now

lol hes just sayin AIM+ was and still is the best and no other program does what it can do as well.

Also that other programmers want to create something like aim+ and want to be the best just like aim+ is.

I would think that AIM+ is pretty good.

I am wating for Dead AIM though.

what do you mean you are wanting Dead AIM. Yes I am currently using it but that because I currently like the features that AIM 5.x has. OVer all I perfer AIM+ over it. IT just worked better fewer problems. DeadAIM is massivly over rated since all the stuff I use on it was advaible before they started making people pay (the logging cloning and no ads). the other stuff is not really worth it......

:EDIT:AIM+ is better than DEAD. but i'm with timeless, i have dead aim, i have it for the fact that i'm using 5.x version. I have the Tab windows up. and away messaging. other than that, it's crap, and still that is nothing special.

Middle_Man and Smilies...

Between Middle_Man and their Ad remover, and with the addition of Smilies, you have every thing other then the Aliases, which M_M will have, and they are going to be better (included in the IM windows). As if that was not enough Middle_Man has even more goodies... And the thing isn't even close to done being created, so even if they only put if half the things they say they are going to, JDennis will go out of business since they "need the money from the sales".

I don't understand why jdennis would go out of business. Maybe people would stay as loyal to them as you do to AIM+.

Even if there was a sharp decline in new people who bought DeadAIM, its not taking money away from them, its just decreasing the chances that they make more profit. Same with AIMutation. I don't believe AIMu or DeadAIM creators live off of their earnings from the product...I thought they had full time jobs..? maybe i'm wrong

I never intended to say JDennis would go out of business.... How can a business go out of business when I don't believe what they say the money is for (Only the site (ie no money for them)? I'm sure someone would be nice enough to give them what they needed if it came down to that which means they would't go out of business.
