Display bug when using localized AIM

Used Version:AIM 4.7.2480 German.

Now I insert 2 pics, first from the German
AOL Instant Messenger / AIM Homepage :

and second from a friend of mine who tried
AIM+ with that release, running Windows XP,
showing the display-"bug"

Try upgrading to the newest AIM beta, 4.8.2646. AIM+ has had some minor display problems with the older releases of AIM.

Well, that's the easiest way, but some people like to
have a localized version of AIM (e.g. in German),
and there are no newer beta-versions.
Might there be a possibility to create a switch in AIM+,
for adding the bar *Im Web suchen* (*Searching the
web*) for the localized versions of AIM?

There should be a fix in place for this problem in the next update of AIM+.

This is actually a problem with all localized versions of AIM, not just the German AIM. The US version of AIM no longer includes the search bar, while the localized AIMs still include it; that's where this problem came up.

This bug has been fixed for the next release of AIM+. The problem stemmed from two things: first, the localized versions of AIM still include the search bar, which has been removed from the current American version of AIM. Second, the localized versions of AIM do not include a general button row (Today / Away / Prefs), which is where the AIM+ menu button is placed in buddy list window.

This is the UK version, I beleive all localized versions should be the same (also, they are the same as AIM version 4.7, the latest official/final version of AIM).
