Loading AIM+ causes Solitaire NOT to load

Post by T1modem »

Everytime AIM+ starts (upon windows load up), Solitaire will not load.
The error message I get is:

SOL caused a general protection fault
in module KRNL386.EXE at 0002:00003077.

When I close AIM+, I can then open Solitaire.
It's on a Win98 IBM laptop.
Using AIM ver. 4.8.2781
To reproduce it, simply open AIM+ followed by loading Solitaire. I haven't gotten it to work on several machines.

By the way - all the other topics in this Bug Reports section are simply specific-user computer problems. My computer is practically kept new, AIM+ works PERFECTLY in every situation, every single time. There are no flaws, no problems, and no crashes. The people who are having this many problems with their software working, should consider rebooting their computers to Original Factory Settings. That will fix ALL problems.

Anyhow, If any of the Big-O moderators catch this thread and decide to take a look, that'd be cool.
peace

I'm not getting this problem with AIM+ 2.2.1, AIM 4.8.2790, and WindowsXP. You may want to try upgrading your AIM to the latest version, who knows, it may help :).

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
