Search on http://google.com

Use the keywords: "AIM sysop"

It's the first link in the results.

Why ask when you can do it yourself..

from what i remember about AIM SysOp was that it was supposed to have extra/added features that normal AIM didn't have.
But AIM SysOp was from around the time AIM v3.5-4.0+ came out.
With all the features of newer AIM versions AIM SysOp became out dated and features that AIM has added since.

Here is the list of features that the AIM Sysop has. But I for one didn't get it to work for me. On Win98se. :-? Just gave a bunch of errors, and AIM refused to load(something about the .ocm files.)But But this feature list was last updated in July of 1999. So you must need a really old version of AIM to use it.

*NOTE* It's a really really long list, so I intentionally made the font small. Just copy it all and then paste it into NotePad or Wordpad.

Just lost my copy.

Post by acidxburn »

Well drat, I lost my copy of AIM Sysop the other night, and now I can't find it anywhere. I searched Google, and went to TONS of different AIM sites, and the best I could find were broken links. Could anyone help me out? Thanks.

Well, I searched on the DC network and I'm downloading it at 4kbps :-? .. must be a dialup user. And I'm searching on the Tesla network (both P2P apps) .. and still no results. I went about 10 pages deep within a few different google searches..and no results. Someone has to have it out there.

Although from my own experince, I did have it as well before a previous computer reformat, and it never worked for me. I always got errors when trying to run the program.

I used to use it all the time.. it's got a pretty simple and clean interface, and never gave me any probs. I just don't know what I was thinking when I deleted it. Good idea on the p2p's, I'll give them a look, too.

I do have the AIM Sysop now. Im guessing i dont get to play with all the features cause I have AIM 4.8.

It's nothing that special from what I Can see. It just logs IM's and Chat rooms...does a few stupid little things. Nothing worthwhile

Do you think you could send it to me.. or put it up somewhere that I can grab it? That would be much appreciated.

If someone sends it to me, I'll put it up here...

What does it do in a nutshell, and how big is it?
