Hit the "PrtScn" button on your keyboard, then paste into your favorite editing software.

Piece of cake. YOu see that button on the key board that says "Print Screen"? (next to scroll lock and pause). Press that. Then open paint (or your favorite graphic program), and paste the image. Save and post.

grr DADINK lol. Okay well beat this press alt (or ctrl but I think its alt) + print screen and it will only capture the active window.

lol, but I don' think he needs that. He said "desktop," not "window." So take that!

Just for your info...if you want to just take a screen shot of an open window (instead of your whole screen), hit Alt while pressing Prt Scr (Print Screen).

I learn something new by reading this thread. I did nto know you could just take a screen shot of an open window. Hell right before I made that topic on every posting you desktop I had just learned how to take a screen shot
