AIM mobile phone help
ill ask anyways. I use my phone to sign on to AIM a lot. I have the Motorola T193 phone. When i first started using the messages to do this, everything worked fine. But now it takes me FOREVER to receive the messages that are being sent to me, while on the other hand, the messages im sending are getting to the person right away, anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this??????

It all depends on who your cell phone provider is. I have Sprint, and I used to pay $5 per month extra to be able to log onto the internet using my regular minutes. Everything I did on the internet using my cell phone came out of my regular plan minutes. I really enjoyed this feature, but they raised the cost to $10 on my new plan, and I'm not going to pay $10 a month to browse a few websites and try to use AIM :) ... If you can get the wireless web for relatively cheap on your plan, go for it, it's fun to play with!

There are very limited graphics. The webpages displayed on the wireless web aren't the same ones on the "real" web. They're actually coded in a different "mobile" language, so each website has to decide if they're going to bother to redo their website for mobile phones. You can't get to www.big-o-software.com on your cell phone :). I would visit ESPN.com, MSN.com (for Hotmail), Yahoo.com (for e-mail), get movie times, check the weather, read the news ... lots of pretty awesome stuff.
