Q for Aim+ Dev team.

I’m writing a natural English AI engine. Id like to put it to good use as an interactive away message in aim. I have little windows coding experience so Id like to find some way that would it simple to

A) Know I’ve received a message
B) Get the name of user and text received
C) Reply to that person

I don’t want to use and alter some free source aim client as then I’d have to sign off and run a separate program.

AS the developers of AIM+ have created a history feature, they must know exactly how to do it.

But alas I’m a math student and only program scientific software. All that cool snazzy windows coding is not something I know or really want to go learn. Making a simple Open GL windows ap is friggen hard enough.

I would truly appreciate help, and please know that my project is only for a personal academic purpose, not commercial use.
