My major is Civil Engineering
By hours I am a sophmore with 43 hours but it is my 3rd year of collage. (I was part time for the first 2 years) but I still have 4 years to go on how the course build on eachother.
Currently I am currently taking 14 hours at Texas Tech
Chem 1308 and its lab
Engineering Graphic
Cal I
Engineering Anlazies 1305
Civil engineering Seminar
Next sesester I am still trying to firgure out what I plan on talking. I need to talk to my adviser to figure it out because I am a transfer student I end up with more holes in my class segraul because I have a lot of the basic done that where spreed out over all 4 years. And for the same reason I am having trouble keeping my segral full time until I get though statics which is the bottle neck course.
Jedi what collage are you attending I dont know of many schools out side of the miltray that teach nueclear engineering

Music Performance - Violin
Junior (86.5/133 credits earned) Btw, most music major classes are only 1 credit each, but you meet for about 4 to 5 hours a week for each class... It's just a shitload of work....
Currently Taking 16.5 credits:
- Violin Lessons
- Ear Training 3rd semester (they play stuff you write it down, or you sight-sing stuff)
- Music Theory 5th semester (20th century this year, yay, atonal stuff, some o fit's cool)
- Keyboarding 3rd semester (otherwise known as piano)
- Charles Ives and His World (a course on the 20th century composer Charles Ives)
- Math History (it's a math general ed. credit, I'm too lazy/busy to take calclus, besides, as a music major its not required)
- Philharmonic Orchestra
- Baroque Ensemble (performance studies of music from 1750 and before we use gut strings (not the modern steel) and play with baroque bows, which are quite different from modern bows)
- Prevent of Hearing Loss (it's a gened credit, again, it kinda ties in with my major)
Next semester (17.5 credits)
- Violin Lessons
- Ear Training (another level)
- Keyboarding (otherwise known as piano)
- Philosophy thru film
- Italian (required for music performance)
- Conducting (yay, wave baton in front of orchestra)
- Philharmonic Orchestra (larger orchestra)
- Chamber Orchestra (smaller orchestra)
- Baroque Ensemble
- Possible Speech Communications class.....
OY, the fun of college!

I'm at NC State University. We have a reactor on campus too. We also have a PWR simulator for operations training, disaster scenarios, etc.
I've already got enough math credit to fulfull the requirement for a minor. I'm thinking about getting it as a second major.
I've taken:
Cal I, II, III
Ordinary Differential Equations
Partial Differential Equations (this was a graduate course, not the typical PDE course for seniors)
Fourier Analysis
Complex Analysis
Number Theory
Linear Algebra/Matrices

Re: What's your major?
Tough and very interesting stuff as far as I know. Pretty cool Had you ever considered chemical engineering before u settled on nuclear?Master Jedi wrote:Nuclear Engineering
That explains your wit and thought processes. I bet a large chunk is natural as well, but you can definitely think well and quickly. On a side note, did you ever happen to debate in high school or college?Axilla wrote:Philosophy and Sociology
