Mouse-over Transparency

Post by GigaRoc »

It would be really cool if you took your transpricy a little farther. I jsut got TransparinyFX for winamp... and it has a mouse over feature. I like it a lot and it would be cool if you could include it in AIM+

what i meen is you set your buddylist to 95% transparent when not in use
then when you move your mouse over the buddylist it becomes only 50% and when you click on it is no longer transparent

that would be cool to have because sometimes they do get in the way like the buddy list and everything and if they are transparent it would be easy

X-Mouse (TweakUI)

Post by Big-O Ryan »

For those who really like the idea of mouse-over bringing up the window, you might want to try activating the "X-Mouse" option in TweakUI (I imagine this only works for 2000/XP, also). This will bring activate windows simply by mousing-over them, and will therefore make AIM+ fade into view when you mouse-over the window.

It will also give focus to windows as you move the mouse, though, so the results of turning this on might suprise the uninitiated.
