after installing, uninstalling, and reinstalling as to follow directions, im still not sure what im doing wrong.

my aim+ worked fine before i reformatted my computer a few days ago. after the reformat, i tried reinstalling, and ever since then, my history viewer has been unviewable. i made a screen shot, and hopefully someone will be able to help me.

From the AIM+ FAQ:

Q. When I try to start the AIM+ History Viewer, I get an error! Something about 'MFC42.DLL'..

A. You need to update some of your system components. You can download an update utility from Microsoft here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... up_enu.exe

ive downloaded that and it still doesnt work.

A few questions....

First of all, did you install AIM 5.0 when you re-formatted? And secondly, did you install an ancient version of AIM that might not work with AIM+?
