Notepad. I dont use WYSIWYG editors..

But for helping me out sometimes to make Table layouts, I use Dreamweaver 4.

But for everything else I hardcode in Notepad. :P

Once I learn Dreamweaver, I will use it. But until then, notepad has never failed me.

Ya know.... for all you hardcore notepad users out there (like me) i should tell ya about this..... its called textpad.... another text editor.... but it is like awesome :)

lol... i even made it my default for files instead of notepad.

(also this is a hex editor too)

look at the screenshot (displaying schwippy.com index) and notice some of the stuff it has. It can open multiple documenst, context coloring........... and really i cant even begin to tell yall how much stuff there is in it... all i can say is DOWNLOAD it and try it!

heres the link to the download.com page for it:
http://download.com.com/3000-2352-70031 ... ag=lst-0-1

it costs $23.... but yeah....... no comment on that  i think you all know what im sayin

The only reason I dont use editors such as CoffeeCup HTML editor or Dreamweaver, is because they don't keep current with the HTML standards.

For instance.. almost every one of those tags that I see in the image above..are all deprecated according to the current HTML revision. (4.01)
And once XHTML takes hold.. browsers will stop supporting deprecated tags..and there will be a lot of disfuntional sites out there.

Evrsoft [sic] 1st Page -- it's free, it's simple, it rocks. It's not WYSIWYG -- mainly it just color-codes tags and provides some pre-made JavaScripts, and a preview pane. I've built my entire website using it, and I love it.

Course, on my iBook, I always use TextEdit.
