Insane!
Okay you have to see this to even begin to believe it.
$69.99 for a gallon of ice cream. You have to be real desperate to pay that much. Maybe its just because any store I go into I can buy this stuff but still...

I bet Ben & Jerry's sells for something close to that for a gallon of their ice cream.

Lol, alright, but I did say close to $70. That's close isn't it?
Also, aren't 8 pints in a gallon?

Punkster is correct. There are 8 pints to a gallon. Using that logic the Perry's ice cream is ~$8.75/pint while the B&J ice cream is ~$10.83/pint. The price just seems so outrageous because the quantities are so large. A gallon of ice cream is a lot of ice cream. Plus, we are talking about what is considered premium grade ice cream. Personally I think B&J is a luxury purchase. Typically I only buy Blue Bell (which I think is only local to the Texas/Oklahoma area) and Breyers

Wegman's is in my city too, it's all over the county. Just thought I'd let you know.aclauser wrote:Since I can go into Wegmens (local chain) and buy the Perry's for about $5.00 max I thought it was insane. The B&J is not inflated nearly as much as the Perry's is though.

Well, a grocery store being one of the top five places to work is pretty insane.
