Only works if you install Office (or something else I hope).

Isn't there a repair function on the OS? I know when I replaced Notepad with a diffrent program, Win 2000 said that it was corrupt or something and asked if I wanted to repair it, or something to that effect.

The repair function replaces system files and control drivers... not programs.

Just copy someone else's copy as suggested.

It is unclear what Windows OS your using ( I have 98 ), but You could try Going into Control Panel. Then Add/remove prgrams. Then there should be a tab called "Windows Setup". Then Double click on "Acessories" and uncheck paint. Then hit OK or Apply. Then go through the same steps and re-check paint. And if that dosent work you have me stumped.
