wont the aim servers or aimop find it suspicious for an account to have more than 200 buddies?

Somehow I don't believe that program will work considering the Buddy Lists are stored Server Side.

This program probably contains some kind of malicious code.

Ditto.. I was thinking it's probably some sort of Trojan or Virus in the program as well... but I failed to mention it.

rofl its not a trojan or anything bad. the only thing that was stopping you from getting more then 200 buddies was the aim client. in the tree's settings it wouldnt allot more then 200. this is its own aim client using winsock or something similar to that probebly. the thing that sux about it is that you start from scratch so its useless unless you just got aim

That program is a joke.

It's using tocSock.ocx which was written by friend of mine Robbie. I haven't used the program but Im thinking what he was trying to do is connect to AIM Server using tocSock.ocx and add more users to the list since the list is stored on AIM Server. Well this will never work !

Server will accept the user and add him to the list. But the Aim Client will block any user over 200. The only thing that will actually work is you patch your AIM client...

Robbie always has done quality work........ i have always been a fan. actually been missin him, lol.... does he have his site anywhere else yet? i keep waiting til he gets it up.

tocSoc.ocx was pretty cool... but its starting to get a lil outdated..... robbie needs to return with a comeback.

i know hes around here sumwhere, hes just not making himself public 8)

Well since he lost a lot of trust in the security world he stoped working on AIM Filter and about the site, he lost all his hosts and got school + work , got no time to update the site..
