Acclaim Sports today revealed the latest installment of NBA JAM for the next-generation consoles. Developed by Acclaim Studios Austin, NBA JAM returns to the court with over-the-top, arcade-style 3-on-3 gameplay, and offering trademark features like On Fire, Big Head mode and hot spots, as well as all-new moves specifically designed for the next- generation console systems. Key features include all 29 current NBA teams, classic mode from 1950 to 1970, over 700 new motion captured animations, a new Create-A-Player mode, lots of modes and mini-games (quick-play Exhibition, NBA JAM Tournament, NBA Legends Tournament and Mini Games), 50 of the NBA's greatest players from the past 50 years, a point system that rewards players and allows for upgrades, commentary by Tim Kitzrow and bonus DVD footage. NBA JAM will be available this fall across all "next-generation systems" Pricing and platforms to be announced Acclaim will be showing the new NBA Jam game all this week at E3 (booth #152, Concourse Hall).
