i sign onto AIM.... someone else signs onto AIM +, after a few minutes, we get a RUNTIME ERROR on AIM +. this only started happenin AFTER we uploaded AIM. do u understand? id really like some help in fixin this problem. and i dont need sarcastic remarks either.

It has been reported that AIM+ may be causing the run time errors...

Downgrade to the version before the one you have, as it seems to work normally, and you arn't missing out on anything (Okay maybe this version has code that makes it a tenth of a second faster ;)).

I use 5.2.2355 and it works fine (just for refrence).

I kno that AIM + is causin the runtime errors. How do i downgrade the AIM?

For AIM i have version 5.2.3277.

So you're sayin that if i downgrade, everythin should work fine?

:-?

I have been experiencing VB Runtime errors with AIM+ just like blueanjelwingz07, however, I can speak intelligible English. What blueanjelwingz07 was trying to say was that AIM 5.2.3x may crash while chatting. As far as I can tell, it will crash randomly after recieving an IM (in a new or ongoing conversation). Since HTML history files are apparently not written until an IM session is ended...all buffered history data is lost. :(

Personally, aside from this error i love AIM+! If anyone knows another free program that can do alpha transparency as well as AIM+ does it (meaning fade-outs and a visibility slider) let me know!

You're obviously making one fatal mistake. You are signing on with the same exact screenname at the same time. If you make a new screenname, use AIM+ to sign on to your other screenname. I had this same prediciment, and that was how I fixed it. :cheesy:
