AIM+ Runtime Error

Everytime I sign on Aim+ with my new s/n after a couple mins or something along time a thing pops up that says RUNTIME ERROR and kicks me off. And I have tried so many things to change this. If you could please help me I would appreciate it. I am using Windows XP and I don't know what version because I don't know how to check it.
