ok it let me download aim+ but every time i clone it and get on two s.ns a little box pops up when ever i send or receive i.ms. that says something about there is an error, and after like 10 of thoes boxes pop up aim shutsdown... what is up with it?!? im getting really pissed off
the error says:

Failed to write file log!
This usually means that your file disk is full.
Or, the log directory is invalid(does not exist, or you dont have write-access to this directory.

then it has a no option "ok" button so i click ok.

thanks anyone who helps! my s.n to tell me how to fix it is corether6581

This isn't an AIM+ forum, sorry.

Shut up Axilla

10 error boxes? Perhaps you can tell us what the error says because I have never heard of 10 errors all at once.

That's simple enough. You don't have enough free space on your HD for AIM+ to create the log file. Everytime you send a IM or a IM is sent to you AIM+ attempts to create the log. This is not a error from AIM+, but rather just a problem with your system (well not really a problem unless you consider lack of space as such).

You can fix this by simply deleting files... In most cases free up a couple MBs should be enough for the time being... If you can't find anything to "clean up" then may I suggest your really old logs?

Also sometimes depending on how the system is set up you simply can't write to certain folders. This should only be the case however if you have one of these versions of Windows:
NT
2000
XP Pro

Try disabling logging.
