Broken AIM [Netzero]

At home I use Netzero to go online. The only problem is that only AIM 4 will load with NetZero running. I've tried re-installing both programs, and got nothing. I tried loading AIM before Netzero, and it loads, but then crashes when I start Netzero. Any help would be appreciated, even though I don't expect much...

Hmm...are you using their new "high speed" dial-up?

I've tried the high-speed and a brand new account. But I don't think its that, its not if I'm on netzero. It won't even load if netzero is just running.

Sounds like you should bring this to the attention of AIM and NetZero. They'll both compare code and see who's at fault, and you'll most likely get a quick fix. Reason?

NetZero doesn't want to lose customers just because people can't use AIM with it. So to use AIM and NetZero together (that is, if it's on their side) it'll get fixed quick.

Now if it's on AIM's side .. don't expect that to get fixed quick. Mainly because AOL is a big load of honky bullshit that only cares about themselves and doesnt ever read up on what the customers want. They only implement and fix the features they care about. So to that, I say AOL can lick Axilla's Nuts.. (no offense)

NetZero is not a good ISP, people seem to get it cause it cost less that other ISPs, but your not the only one with the problem, my brother, had ordered NetZero and had the same problem, and also, NetZero doesn't even have a POP acount for us users that use Outlook for e-mail checking (even though Outlook is crap) but my brother solved the problem by stopping with being a cheap ass and droped Net Zero and changed ISP.

My guess is NetZero is the prob.

One thing to say.

If you're on Dial Up... it's crap. No matter what ISP you use, it's still crap. You use the same phoneline... connect to the same powerlines that run out to the same places. You just use different software and connect to different servers.

NetZero...

I use NetZero at home too, i play WarCraft 3 on it, i can use whatever version i want of AIM on it, Although amybe its your computer? I have a gaming rig setup so that might be helping em prcess faster. True Dial-up sucks, but hey, i either have free TV cable, or they come to my house to install cable internet, and i end up paying for both...:

If you pay for netzero, and you have a problem with their software why dont you call up their tech support and open a trouble ticket? Netzero works really hard to keep their customers happily surfing porn.

Nope. Downloads too slow.
