Downloader Program

I have a program called Wget. It is a command line downloading program. I want this program to catch downloads from IE, so I can use that instead of downloading through IE. How would I go about this?

Oh... IE now works on Linux??
Kenny - Take a step back - The World still does not revolve around Linux (And in fact if you knew enough about Linux you would understand that Linux users DONT want every single Windows user on the OS...)

Noo.. the program Wget was ported to the Windows Platform.
