if I block this person that is sending them to me will it stop doing it?

I recently recieved from someone the AIM Invader and I really don't know how to get rid of it. Everytime i get on my screen name i get millions of messages from some sn and i can't do anything!

if you could justtell me if there is a way to delete it that'd be great
