Thanks guys,

I figured out how to do it with an email using a cgi script. Someone can enter the name and it will insert their email address into my database. I'm still trying to figure it out with aim though.

I made a website for my band and we just made the first song from our EP available as an mp3 for download. I want to know if anyone knows if there is an html code which would allow me to put a form on the page where someone can enter a comment about the song and then have that comment im'd to my scr...

it works now

I rebooted the computer then ran the patch again and it works fine now with 5.2.3281

problems

I tried using this patch with the newest version of aim 5.2.3277 and it does not work, says

"wrong version of aimres.dll file"

anyone know what the problem could be?

What is wrong with you people?

Have you all lost your minds? Why are you all getting so worked up about an AOL Instant Messenger add-on program? This is not the biggest deal in the world folks. Calm down, go out side, do somthing productive. How shallow can your life be if the main problem in it right now is whether or not an AIM...

I see someone double posted =). Although Aim 5 right now does not seem to be all that great, it still is in beta. Who knows what other changes are in store for this program. By the time of its final release it could actually be better then version 4. I do not think it is fair to knock a beta version...
