First of all, your icon is really scary looking. Secondly, I think this idea sounds good, perhaps we could also have it do the same for IM direct connects, file transfers, and talk. Nothing is more annoying than accidentally clicking cancel on a file transfer or accidentally closing a new IM when yo...

Automatically Parse HTML
I think it would be nice if you had an option to automatically parse HTML in IMs. There is a registry setting you can change for this option and I'm sure it would be easy to toggle on and off. I just miss being able to do this like in the old AIMs.

I use XP also, but I have introduced my sister to AIM+ also, and for some reason she likes the ads there *shrug*. But anyways, they use Windows Me, and login to the same profile for simplicity and ease of use. My sister likes to leave her AIM open to recieve messages while away, but doesn't want my ...

I have a program called window sniper, I found it to be effective on many other programs, although adding something like this to aim would be a waste of effort that would be better spent on other features. I think mostly people want to have the option to disable the buttons on the bottom of the budd...

What about those of us who get disconnected like every 10 minutes? We want insanely long uptimes too! lol, *pets his DSL modem, router, and 15 minute UPS* :P But really, is this possible? I think you can do it on the toc server, but I'm not sure about the login server. I'm friends with the develope...

sysop
On the old version of AIM sysop I had, you could go into invisible mode using a "stealth on" in the oscar window, I would think that this would still work. If you need a copy of the sysop program I can send it upon request.

I agree
this would be really nice to have. Perhaps you could have a way to save your settings which could include auto-accepting direct connections, turning sounds off, and changing your info so that people know where you are. That way when you're at work and your boss is standing right there your friend do...

Away time counter
I can't imagine someone hasn't already suggested this, but I don't see it in the forums by just giving the topics a quick lookover. I think it would be nice to be able to see how long someone has been away, this would be really great for those pesky people who disable the "show users how long I...

exactly
That's exactly what I mean Maraklov. I don't mean to make it so that you can send as many messages as possible, I just mean to make it temporarily disable the enter key until you can safely send a message without waiting 25 seconds or more for your meter to get back to normal. I understand that rate...

Password protected buddy list
Perhaps you could add a feature that you can either manually lock your buddy list by right clicking on the icon in the system tray, or you could also set it to lock automatically when you put up an away message or go idle. Have the program stay minimized and upon attempt to restore it, you are promp...

so turn it off
That's why you would have an option so they could turn it off. As for the altering of the e-mail address, just have it set on AIM itself, don't have the e-mail address within the command, just have a set e-mail address that it will always send it to. Anybody who is already on the computer can see th...

a few variables
System uptime, OS, available/total RAM, CPU usage, IP address (could be useful for people running game servers), and maybe even number of messages recieved while away? Perhaps we could even tie this into the IM forwarding found here...
