well what i would do is manually do the cloning.
but if you're having problems installing into different directories what i would do is install for example aim 4.8 copy the folder and rename it then reinstall AIM 5.0 which is the hard way but for you might be the best way.

Has anyone been hit with the funky phenomenon that when you sign onto AIM instead of your online time being 1 minute it shows something like 12 days 3 hours 45 seconds etc? what the *blank* is that all about?

does anyone know if the new smiley's were patched or no longer work? i was trying to use them with a person that was also on the same version of AIM 5 and i would see them in my IM when i sent them but they would just see the regular same old smiley's.

This post is about a month late since the last post but i just signed up. I've used an altered version of the idlemon.dll that let's you appear as idle as soon as you sign online, but you cant make you not appear as idle unless you restore the original idlemon.dll. I think it uses your computers up ...
